As has been shown in this thread, if your start gcode snippet contains a heatup-sequence, then Cura will not add its own. So you can in fact choose: convenience or control. WebCura should actually be the one parsing that, and spit out the rendered lines, so like M140 S60 M190 S220 (with whatever temperatures you've set in Cura). Those are commands that klipper will be perfectly happy with. So you need to look at your gcode file, and see if the actual values have been correctly inserted or not. I have set to 344 because the inductive probe is on the left side of the toolhead, and if I have it lower I was getting out of range when doing the mesh probe. You will need to put the M104 M140 later in the start codes else cura will not heat the bed/extruder.
