WebNov 24, 2024 · I have an XPS 15 7590. I upgraded to Windows 11, two weeks ago. Since then my touch pad is intermittent when opening the lid from sleep. The touch pad cursor is very hesitant, and touch pad clicking does not work. The only solution is to restart the laptop every time - pain. WebApr 4, 2024 · I have the same problem on a new 7590. The touchpad stops responding, typically after sleep. If I hold my finger still on the pad for a second and then move it works, but that's an undesired feature for a premium laptop. I've updated the two drivers mentioned on this thread. I've disabled gestures. I've disabled the touchscreen.
