It was engineered to fit a 351W in a 65-66 chassis, which is quite a bit tighter than your 68, so they should fit quite easily. There are 2 problems with using 302 headers on a 351w. It doesn't matter if they are long tubes or shorties. The problem is due to the difference in deck height, which means the headers will now sit higher and wider in the transmission tunnel.
